About the application:

LocalizR is a softwarelocalizer program, primary for developers.

With the help of the application we can make other people get involved in software translation.

Paralel work between projects is now possible, the completed translation can be saved or exported to XML and sent to other developers.

With help of the app translation time is now reduced drastically, since the viewing of XML files has never been easier! The software can edit comments embedded in XML files, and also makes it possible to add our own.

How does it work?

All you have to do is send your strings.xml file to whoever you wish, which, when imported into LocalizR, will be easily translated via an intuitive interface. The finished product can then be sent directly back with e-mail.

Is it possible to translate documents to multiple languages?

The usage of parallel languages is currently not supported. If you wish to translate your document to multiple languages, you will have to import the same XML file multiple times.

What kind of statistics can I get concerning my project?

The status-page of the given project displays the time spent on translating, the number of words to be translated, the status of the translation and many other important information besides.

Where can I find the exported files?

The exported files can be found on your SD-card, in the LocalizR folder.

Can I use comments while working with XML files?

The comments are bound. The comments will always have to be placed before the file being translated. You can also add comments using the application.

You can also join to the LocalizR community. If you have some problem with the application, or you're just looking for translators (or translateable applications) you can find here support 😉
